You're not quite in Siem Reap yet - the wharf is at the Vietnamese fishing village of Chong Kneas. These houses are literally floating on bamboo rafts, and they move further out into the lake in the dry season, following the fish.

You see these signs for the CPP all over the country. CPP is the party of the prime minister, Hun Sen.

The other main parties are Funcinpec (the king's party) and the Sam Rainsy Party. The CPP seems to have won the recent commune elections.
